Course layout

The training starts with a presentation that explains how to support the Adrenalin VOD platform. The hands on part of this training will use a virtual VOD environment with Errors that have been created that need to be located and if possible fixed.

The components that will be explained are the core components:

• PRODIS Suite
• TRAXIS Suite
• Extra Adrenalin Components
• MSS/HSS Content Streamers

After participation on the training the participant understands:

The entire workflow of the Adrenalin platform in detail

• How ingest is done into the Adrenalin VOD platform.
• What metadata is propagated to which component(s).
• How a session is setup in the Adrenalin platform for all devices used.
• How a session is setup in the Adrenalin platform in combination Internet oriented devices
• How a session is setup in the Adrenalin platform in combination Mobile oriented devices

What to do in case of issues within the VOD platform.

• Ingest related problems
• Propagation issues
• Session setup problems.

Prerequisites

• Understand the English language
• Finished the Basic Adrenalin VOD overview training
• DVB Knowledge
• Basic Microsoft 2008 Server Knowledge
