Course layout

The training is based on practical exercises; for this purpose each participant will use a Virtual Machine.
For training at eventIS office attendees use their own laptop.
For on-site training, customers must provide one PC per person (with administrator rights for software installation).

Learning objectives

After participation on the training the participant will understand:

• Understand the concept of the CASIS system
• Configure the CASIS system
• Operate the CASIS system
• Modify the CASIS configuration settings
• Backup and restore the CASIS configuration
• Backup and restore the event schedule
• Analyse the CASIS output on a TS analyser
• Perform first line troubleshooting

Prerequisites

• Understand the English language
• Finished the Basic Adrenalin VOD overview training
• Detailed knowledge about DVB, PSI-SI tables and descriptors
• Detailed knowledge about CA systems
