SeaChange Delivers High-Definition Play-To-Air System At VTM
Leading Belgian Broadcaster Reshapes HD Workflow with SeaChange

SeaChange International (NASDAQ: SEAC) is transforming the workflow at VTM, Belgium’s largest commercial broadcast operation. Thanks to a new play-to-air platform from SeaChange, VTM has launched a tapeless workflow that allows content to be easily and effectively moved among play-to-air, online and offline archives.
SeaChange’s Broadcast MediaLibrary/MediaClient (BML/MCL) VTM’s play-to-air platform, which is integrated with the production storage and delivers the broadcaster’s news, sports and entertaining programming in HD to cable viewers in Belgium. The BML/MCL digital video platform comprises distinct capabilities that have made it the foundation for over 100 broadcasters worldwide: BML servers, which cost-efficiently provide fault-resilient storage of any type of media file; and highly flexible SeaChange MCL codecs that easily fit with any device in a broadcast operations workflow and any video output, from SD and HD play-to-air to broadband streams.

The entire system was integrated by Lines Broadcast Solutions, based in Brussels.
SeaChange will show its systems and software for high definition, IPTV and VOD at IBC 2007 (Stand 1.435) in Amsterdam, Sept. 7-11.
