SeaChange to Demonstrate Multiscreen Video Experience at TelcoTV 2009
On-Demand Video Leaders to Show Unified Video Delivery to TVs, PCs and Mobile Devices

ACTON, Mass. – SeaChange International (NASDAQ: SEAC), a leading provider of software applications, services and integrated solutions to manage, monetize and deliver on-demand video to multiple screens, will demonstrate a readily deployable unified video delivery platform at TelcoTV, Nov. 10-12 in Orlando.  Designed to help operators provide a “follow me” content experience to subscribers, the SeaChange platform facilitates management and delivery of video to TVs, PCs and mobile devices – including the iPhone – using a centralized platform.
“As consumers increasingly use PCs and mobile phones to complement their primary TV viewing experience, SeaChange is helping operators follow subscribers with their content by allowing them to leave a program on one device and pick up where they left off on another,” said Alan Hoff, vice president, product marketing, SeaChange.  “SeaChange is already delivering more than 40,000 hours of mobile video every month and supporting more than 1,500 handsets, and those numbers are rising in concert with changing consumption habits.”

In addition to the “follow me” TV demonstration, SeaChange will show its new Axiom Universal Resource Manager (URM) at TelcoTV booth 819 next week.  Axiom URM allows managed network operators to deliver the best possible video experience to consumers no matter the device they are using to watch or when, guaranteeing quality of service (QoS) across access, aggregation and edge networks for cable, IP and wireless delivery of video.
SeaChange will also show its Spot automated advertising system working with RGB Networks’ Broadcast Network Processor, which together form a turnkey ad insertion solution supporting MPEG-2 and MPEG-4/H.264.
TelcoTV attendees will be able to see firsthand how SeaChange is leveraging its expertise in video-on-demand to help operators expand into multi-screen delivery.  Already, mobile operators such as Vodafone, 3 UK and O2 are using SeaChange systems for video delivery and advertising while telcos, including Verizon, Turk Telekom, KDDI and NTT are among the many operators relying on SeaChange VOD systems that will deliver more than six billion video streams in 2009 alone.
