Sales Manager South-West Europe

To continue our success-story of the last years, to support our growth strategy for the years to come, and related to the further professionalization of our team, we are looking for a Sales Manager to join us.

Job description

As our Sales Manager, being one of the ambassadors of our company, you will spend some 60-70% of your time “where our prospects, customers and partners are”. The other 30-40% of your time you will be either at our EMEA headquarters in Eindhoven the Netherlands, or be working from your home office. Your main responsibilities and activities will be:

  • Responsible for the commercial results of SeaChange EMEA in French speaking countries and accounts including Spain and Portugal.
  • Responsible for preparation and execution of the yearly sales plan.
  • Member of SeaChange EMEA sales team, reporting to the SeaChange EMEA commercial director
  • Personally involved in getting, keeping and improving relationship with our new and existing (strategic) prospects and (strategic) customers.
  • Responsible for answering RFI’s, RFP’s and RFQ’s from parties.
  • Close involvement in several business development opportunities.
  • Active participation in weekly sales meeting.
  • Active participation in several yearly exhibitions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

You are a dedicated sales manager with proven and profound EMEA sales experience in at least one (preferably more) of SeaChanges B2B markets. You are a very experienced and inspiring sales manager able to get and keep our company and its dedicated employees, partners and resellers, performing at their best. In order to do so, we expect your profile to meet the following criteria:

  • Your education is at least on “bachelor-level”, and reflects a combination of profound commercial and technical knowledge in electrical engineering, telecommunication, or computer science.
  • Proven long (at least 7-10) year commercial (marketing & sales) management track record, preferably in or related to the cable, broadcast, telecom or IPTV market and strong knowledge of these markets.
  • Bring in a living, strong and international network in the target geographic market in at least one of the following areas: cable operators, telecom operators or internet service providers.
  • Commercial experience in selling professional software solutions is desirable, however only in combination with the above mentioned criteria.
  • A natural born communicator with excellent negotiation skills.
  • An entrepreneurial, result focused and pro-active attitude.
  • Fluent verbal and written expression in the French and English language is mandatory. Good verbal and written expression in another language like: Dutch, German or Spanish, is a strong asset.
  • You are familiar with MS-office and other ICT-related tools and you possess a car driving license.
  • You are living in the Paris region.
