B.A.G. Films
New Delhi, India

The MSV 1100 is among SeaChange's newest SD/HD stand-alone video servers aimed at cost-effectively supporting various broadcast and production workflows and functions. It delivers 8TB or 16TB high-performance SATA storage with RAID-6 reliability. At 3RU, the MSV1100 enables direct streaming of content, while optimizing rack space in constrained environments.

MSV1100 is mainly used as backup server to address the transmission playout demands of B.A.G including two on-air channels. It is also used for ingest preview using DV25 format with stereo audio. To achieve mirrored playout and fully automated media management, the server supports both VTR-based ingest and file-based ingest using the production system with Apple XSAN; automation is handled by Aveco.

“The introduction of SeaChange's MSV 1100 significantly advances B.A.G's seamless workflow and ensures greater reliability, therefore ensuring uninterrupted operations. The integration of SeaChange with Aveco also reduces manual media file management, resulting in more streamlined operations.”
Deepak Tiwari, Chief Technology Officer, B.A.G.
