VODlink^® is a software platform for the creation of applications to run on set-top boxes (STBs).  VODlink is designed to work within the existing video on demand (VOD) infrastructure – it doesn’t require any additional hardware in a cable head-end beyond the VOD servers, yet it still operates the same way on a variety of STBs. VODlink supports multiple applications that are downloaded to the STB, including integrated VOD portals that display a graphic user interface (GUI) to browse through, search for and order VOD assets.
