MITS Customer Scenarios

Customer Situation: Customer is experiencing a major backlog in their lab with testing patches, new product and procedures involving SeaChange and third party video platform products. They are in need of immediate assistance to clear backlog as well as a supplemental lab support staff to get through occasional workload peaks expected in the future.

SeaChange Solution: MITS can attack the backlog immediately utilizing a co-located lab team for a pre-determined period of time to work through existing issues.  Further, MITS can offer a cost effective package specifically designed to support anticipated future backlog throughout the remainder of the year.


Customer Situation: Customer is facing mounting operational expenses associated with their in-house lab and is in the middle of a corporate wide mandate to reduce costs.  In order to reduce costs they have begun looking at opening an offshore solution to reduce costs.

SeaChange Solution: SeaChange MITS can work with the customer to scope out and deploy a co-located lab providing the right combination of domestic and off shore resources. Initially resources would be located as close to the customer as possible with a transition to a more offshore centric service to reduce costs. Lab tests that could be done remotely would immediately be moved offshore to begin reducing costs from the start. The combined team will work with the customer to create a testing strategy and plan as well as develop tests, execute and report results and highlight risks.


Customer Situation: Customer is a small to midsized operator that simply lacks the budget for full scale lab system.  Despite this lack of budget they are still experiencing a growing need to test increasingly complex new products and solutions in a lab environment. What they aren’t lacking is in-house expertise as they are a tightly run group with knowledgeable personnel.

SeaChange Solution: SeaChange MITS can offer a ‘time-share’ lab model where the customer pays a flat annual fee in exchange for the right to utilize the SeaChange lab to run the test scenarios they need to.  The operator can utilize SeaChange equipment housed in this lab, and even leverage SeaChange staff should they choose.  Third party equipment may be sourced by customer, or obtained by SeaChange. SeaChange can also provide guidance on testing strategy and approach, plan, develop and execute tests, report results and highlight potential risks.
